SAKHI NATA GURUKULA

Sakhinata is almost lost in Ganjam District. So we have developed a residencial Sakhinata Grukula to revive this form of dance again, We have started this project from 2009. There are already 5 boys & 5 girl students in the Gurukula Hostel. Thease students go general education in pubic M.E. school in day time & get dance & song classes morning & evening. Gradually we are planning to increase more students according to the need. There are many kinds of musical instruments & two dance teacher & lady care cook who takes care of them round the clock.

Appart from this Sakhinata Gurukula at Village Bhatakumarada, we also have other 4 village branches at Sundarpur, Gudiali, Matigada, Kokaranda village.In those groups there are 6 students , one teacher & two musicians.We also invited by other different villagers to open more Sakhinata training centers in their village.
